Oh what a delight it is to be working with such esteemed guild members! We will retrieve all these poor lost pokemon, I’m sure of it!

Yeah man! And if any of the bigger jerks try to pull a fast one on us, I'll give ‘em a proper beatin’! I was the king of the ring with my boy Pine here! Ya’ll have nothing to worry about!

Ah... perfect. I’m sure we will be fine considering how fantastically inspiring your reputation is, thief.

Yo, I said it's cool! I've been paying back my dues to the old man on the hill.

I use these muscles for good now!

We will see about that Zug. In the meanwhile, it's time for the mission briefing.

You're quite right. Every moment spent on idle chitchat will only allow the escapees to inflict more chaos on the city. So, If you will Pine.

As you wish madam!

Ladies and gents and everyone in between! On this day, we have been blessed with the opportunity to provide much needed aid to the citizen’s of Rift City.

As we speak, misguided souls of all shapes and ages have been freed by the merciless hand of fate to wreck havoc upon Rift City’s squishy citizens!

Oh, how are they to survive with such delicate bodies?” you might ask! Well...

Ah yeah! That's right, we gotta be straight up heroes!

Us good guys got to go and get them back to my boy Pine’s place. Can’t have none of ‘em hurtin’ y'all when we in charge. Pine’s place sets ‘em up proper.

Yes! Remember to not be so quick to judge these poor misguided souls. Just like this exquisitely refined bunny before you, they too can have a change of heart!

Some of these pokemon have suffered from a cruel dealing of the cards and simply wish for a better life! If given the opportunity, you should try to use conversation to convince them of a more peaceful solution. We’re not tyrants after all, are we?

We can hug ‘em and all that. Pine’s super good with that lovin’ junk.

I've been told as much.

Ardent Cinders, in order to ensure success with this mission we must take great care to assess each situation thoroughly before confronting these individuals.

You've all been provided with a confidential list of the escapees and their information. Use appropriate tactics for their capture based on their profiles. There should be no unnecessary use of violence unless the situation calls for it.

Pine will be around to aid in this. They have the advantage in that have been able to get to know these pokemon on a personal level. If you come up with any plans, be sure to seek approval from Pine in order to make sure your actions are appropriate.

Right you are Nuri! Let's be gentle to all my dear old pals if we can help it, yes?

Sinkholes have appeared throughout Rift City and have caused more problems than just a few crumbling buildings! With the Correctional Center’s foundations compromised, Pine been having trouble keeping its members in check. Even with his new friend Zug to help him out, Pine is still going to need a few helping hands to recover those who’ve taken advantage of the chaos to flee into the city. Join Pine, Zug, and his entourage of Ferroseed as the Ardent Cinders set out to
retain those who have wondered a bit too far.

For this task, the Ardent Cinders will be responsible for the recapture of a diverse array of Pokémon. While some of them are certainly violent criminals, others might be Pokémon suffering from certain conditions that have made life a bit difficult. Remember, not every Pokémon who stays at the Correctional Center are hardened villains and many might already be on their way to becoming helpful citizens. It’s up to your teams to properly evaluate each situation and apply appropriate tactics. The Correctional Center used to be hidden away in the walls of the rift, but cave ins have rendered it mostly inaccessible. It will likely be rebuilt elsewhere in the days to come, but for now teams can take any secured individuals to Pine and their Ferroseed will be sure to handle them from there.

Rewards

For participating, teams will earn:

5 meobans

And they may choose between either of the following rewards:

A TM Slip

*Or*

A Furniture Voucher

Please only take one or the other!

Your team may receive one of the following Bonus Rewards as long as their entry is submitted before the deadline:

Gengar Coin- Invokes the ability Shadow Tag.

“A shiny, sinister looking coin that holds more power than meets the eye. When tossed onto the shadow of a Pokémon, it will pin the shadow in place forcing its owner into a paralyzed like state, unable to move from that spot or remove the coin.”

Disguise Kit- Invokes the ability Disguise. Use this kit to infiltrate the defenses of an enemy. The material can be used multiple times but takes a bit of time to assemble. Can be used once per event.

“Sometimes mimicry is the best solution. By dawning on a proper disguise you can surprise and catch your enemies off guard. It might also help avoid a blow or two, but try not to get too cocky.”

Trapinch Trap- Invokes the ability Arena Trap.

“This cute little device should not be so easily overlooked. With a powerful snap, this trap can come bursting out of hiding, griping tightly onto foes as it drastically slows them down with its heavy weight. Just the thing to catch a speedy Pokémon on the run.”

Mission 3 is here! This is the first event to feature art by our new admins so a huge thank you goes out to them for their assistance getting these missions out to you all!

The deadline for this mission is July 31st 11:59pm PST!

As a reminder, we do not judge mission entries, but do pay attention to what members do with them. You do not need to send us a note when your entry is finished.
Good luck everyone!

That Trapinch trap, is that a Controller beside it, and... how small is the trap?
